openWeather RSS feeds sounds cool

Tony Collen is working on Weather RSS Feeds: openWeather. Sounds cool!

Here in San Francisco, the weather can be quite different from one neighborhood to the next. It would be great if someone had an easy way for individuals to take cheap digital thermometers and connect them up with the Internet.

I would like to be able to get the temperature not just for San Francisco, but for downtown Noe Valley, the south side of Dolores Park and for 4th and Mission.

So, combine blogs with Weather RSS with GeoURL with PlaceTime URIs with WiFi and mobiles. (And, well, I think the iCite net will be one way to combine all of those things.)

Maybe RSS autodiscovery link usage should change (in Echo?)
