KMWorld: enterprise information architecture / user experience communitiy of interest

I am at the KMWorld conference in Santa Clara.

A group of folks hung out at a little kind-of birds-of-a-feather get-together, hosted by Lou Rosenfeld. I didn't get everyone's names, but it was a great group.

We talked shop about the relationship between IA and search / findability, search usability, information silos in organizations, titles in organizations (CIO vs CTO and their relationship to IA), multidisciplinary people vs people from traditional disciplines and their role in IA, whether liberal arts education should embrace information design disciplines more directly, and more. Lots of good stuff!
