M-iCite (other) blog is a winksite

posted: Feb 10, 2004 10:46:47 PM

Somewhat ironically (in regards to the other thing I am doing, which I describe below), I spontaneously created yet another blog today, at the new Winksite. This is, for now, just a blog for playing with mobile blogging, but it is part of my mobile m-iCite, which you also can see and browse inline below in this post.

Now, otherwise, I have been working on designing and building my new music-oriented blog for my Ear Reverends site, and also coding part of the iCite net prototype that combines multiple RSS / Atom feeds into a single feed.

My intention is to launch my new music blog and, besides the standard separate feeds, offer a single feed that combines current posts from both blogs (music and this one). I am also wanting to write a bunch here about why more and more people are starting to have more than one blog, and what I think that is about.

Anyway, here is a fully browsable interface to m-iCite which emulates what it looks like on a mobile (click on links!):

Winksite is pretty feature-packed. Among other things, it puts a RSS / Atom feed reader on your site which gives one a nice mobile interface to many websites. The feed reader also gives you the option to email a post to anyone, which might be nice.
