Don Park's Friendship Circle post and the subsequent comments are an interesting thread of dialog about visualizing one's categorization of their friends (ala social networking sites). I added a few of my own comments (specifically here, here, and here) which also reflect some of the ideas / interests behind the iCite net, though I don't say so explicitly in the comments.
