Good articles on blogs and weblogging

Quite excellent new article on the Register, The Future of Weblogging, by Nico Macdonald, via Rebecca Blood, who describes it as "possibly the smartest thing I've ever read—by anyone—on the subject". Rebecca is also featured in a new Mindjack article, Linked Out: Blogging, Equality, and the Future, by Melanie McBride.

Much less interesting at this point: I was working on an article (er, blog post) tentatively titled: "Following blogs: what are the next weblogs". Besides accurately predicting the future, it was going to show some code examples, but XSLT has set me back a couple grades and I'll be taking some time this weekend to reassess.
