iCites will be able to be written in or translate to and from many different computer languages. Similarly, iCites will be able to use many different computer protocols.

the iCite net will operate on the Internet, though it will also be possible to run local-only and internal network only iCites. Many kinds of electronic computing devices will be able to run iCites.
