Ian Davis, whose Internet Alchemy blog is a good resource on semantic web and RDF topics, has published a good tutorial Parsing FOAF with PHP.
I have a goal to make sure that iCites work well with RDF, and specifically that identity iCites can be seen as FOAF. And I found this tutorial very useful.
