This is something I wrote to put up on this website, but probably won't use. Thought it was OK to put in my blog though ;-)

Rather than repeatedly build certain information management features separately into each new information system for each separate company, the iCite net is about experimenting with what happens when those features become part of the Internet itself, decentralized, in the "wild", and widely accessible by everyone.

the iCite net envisions information as a whole as freely in relationship, and ownership and possesion of information as temporary and conditional play.
