Multimedia blog: great optical illusion

In the spirit of more multimedia blogging, (via a friend of my friend Ted) check-out this optical illusion—just a static 16-color gif, no animation. Definitely click on the image to get the full sized version and see the full effect.
(I was going to embed a MIDI file of some of my music to go with the image too, but I didn't like the way it sounded.)
