Long line for Apples

I thought this would be kind-of trivial, but it is actually amazing: The Longest Line, a video of the line of people waiting to get in to the new Ginza Apple store in Tokyo (via Joi Ito).

(I am about to buy my first Mac in 18 years, so I am all into the Mac mystique again!)

I'm in pretty much the same boat, and had mentioned it here. I occurs to me, If your site now links to my post on the line at the apple store, and we can get some one else to link to your site, we could build the longest link-line/webring about the longest apple line. ;-) Or not.

I wonder if they all even know what they're standing in line for - maybe they just see the "end of line" sign and figure hey, this MUST be good :) I don't think i could ever stand in a line that long in order to spend money. Come to think of it, I don't think I could ever stand in a line that long.
