Now in beta, Google Personalized (or Persoogled as we call it in the old country). Check it out: fill out a profile and adjust the slider to personalize your search results to more match your profile of interests. (OK, I admit it: Wow!)
I keep thinking they'll add a social component to this at some point (that we'll call Soshoogle, of course): pick a group of people and personalize your results to be within the topic neighborhood of those people's sites (where sites is probably initially Blogger blogs).

you should check out eurekster. they are already doing personalized group search.
I also wrote a review about it.
