User experience gets diagonal

A good post, Who Owns User Experience? on the Functioning Form blog: it summarizes some points from Don Norman on good products design being horizontal vs. organizational processes being vertical (via Doc Searls). Defintely something folks in many, especially large, companies would benefit from understanding.
