Got 99 RSS files and kickitch ain't one

I've been grabbing RSS / ATOM / RDF files from a variety of blogs and other websites to compare them with each other, in terms of which elements are used in what ways. I've particularly been targeting the sites of folks who either are serious XML / RSS / RDF techies, or who make blog engine software, or who make RSS feed reader software. (Note: this strange behavior on my part is for my current sub-project here, code named kickitch.)

The most telling thing I've learned is: all of the RSS feed reader software folks produce plain, straightforward, RSS. Everyone else. . . not so much.

Next year: more on this and other incredible stories. . .
