I am taking this joke press release off the home page, and wanted to leave it here in the blog in case it was ever needed again:
Press Release: San Francisco, the Web, May 6, 2003: the iCite net announced today that exactly one part of the icite.net website is available, for immediate beta testing. The the iCite net development blog, version 1.0 1/2 absolute beta copper, features regular posts of info on what the iCite net is and how it is developing.
Jay Fienberg, founder and developer of the iCite net says "with version 1.0 1/2 absolute beta copper, the iCite net has achieved a new milestone in providing a leading edge development offering and is demonstrating how the iCite net is committed to responding to the needs of its user base".
Newsfeeds of this blog are also available in multiple flavors:

Jay Fienberg, also one of the early adopters of the new development blog, says: "The new version 1.0 1/2 absolute beta copper looks like a big improvement over the last version 1.0 relative alpha tin. I think, if anyone else reads this blog, they will see a real ROI, or at some other TLAs, over the previous version."
