"You bastards!"
So, last night, I am just minding my own business, sitting on my couch, watching South Park (on PVR, natch), when I open up the new Wired magazine and flip it open to see a picture of Kevin Burton on page 160 (in the "Cracking the Code to Romance" article).
Besides reading things about Kevin I probably didn't want to know (well, actually, they are pretty funny and making good water cooler conversation this morning at work, so I shouldn't complain), and besides the coincidence that I just saw and was sitting next to Kevin (l-to-r, me, Kevin, Marc Canter.) last week at the Technorati Developers' Salon, I'm thinking I really need to be blatantly self-promoting and try to capitalize on the fact that I'm the world's only purveyor of the world's only Kevin Burton song, Joi vs The Burtonator (or, direct mp3 download).
So, for everyone searching on Kevin Burton, you've come to the right place to get your red-hot Kevin Burton songs (er, song). Just click on over and download Joi vs The Burtonator, THE KEVIN BURTON SONG featuring the vocal stylings of Kevin Burton, Joichi Ito and danah boyd, with special appearances by James Cox and someone who is probably Brad Templeton, all backed by The Ear Reverends (me).
(And, hey kids, remember, the Kevin Burton song, Joi vs The Burtonator, is released under a Creative Commons license, so you can download it, burn it on CDs, trade on p2p networks, remix it all you want!)

For the record... don't believe everything you read in Wired magazine.
;)
Long story... I'll probably blog about it later.
