Working from home again, I have a lot more time to download music / video (in particular, whole live concerts [legally, beotch] with BitTorrent), which is fun. And, I'm digging the whole podCasting invasion, as it matches my own desire to see the Internet summarily out-do the old centralized broadcast radio / TV systems.
I was hoping someone would come up with a better name* than podCasting, but I think it's too late now. I guess, at least to the degree that podCasting is being coupled to RSS, we can now add PottyCasting as a subtopic to conversations about Arse.
* podCasting sounds to me like a publisher/producer centric term: it sounds like it is about broadcasting to iPods, i.e., that the publisher is active and the listener is passive. Broadcatching is maybe a stranger sounding a name, but it at least suggests that the listener/viewer/reader is an active player!

title: PodVertising and PodSpamming
One thing really cromaggy about podCasting is that it pulls (for example) blog posts back out of hypertext and into linear audio that must be "read" from start to finish. People who listen to audio blog posts are in a somewhat more captive situation

title: RSS 2 enclosures and the oral tradition
PodCasting is in season, and lots of folks are now posting audio to their blogs and including links to the audio in RSS 2 enclosures.
